About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our team at the Teraanga Commons Dining Hall on Carleton University campus. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing, assembling, and serving food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Sous Chefs and Cooks with the preparation of daily menu items
  • Cook on the line, grill, and use ovens to prepare a variety of dishes
  • Prepare stations with food and ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Assembly of cooked products and presentation to our guests
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude
  • Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
  • Assist with culinary auditing and food safety measures
  • Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures
About You
  • Previous food service experience is required
  • Knowledge of food, sanitization, and health and safety standards is essential
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary

The selected candidate for this position will need to complete and successfully pass a Criminal Background Check.
