Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Welcome Inn Mattawa. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a healthy environment.
  • Provide basic information to guests about our facilities and services.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
