Job Summary

Vestas is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled service and maintenance on wind turbines
  • Conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
  • Perform main component or blade work as required
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather
  • Travel to other sites as needed to assist with maintenance and repairs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of wind experience or a wind certificate
  • Transferable agricultural, mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
  • Safety-focused mindset and positive attitude
  • Ability to identify solutions to issues through process of elimination
