Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will work closely with our team to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular security patrols of assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches.
  • Respond to emergency situations and incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Write detailed reports of incidents and security breaches.
  • Utilize radio and computer applications for communicating site activities.
  • Watch for and report irregularities, including security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • First Aid & CPR - Level C.
  • Post-Secondary education in law enforcement from a recognized institution or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Physical Demands include excessive walking and standing.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy.
Qualifications
  • A Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written).
  • Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • COVID Double Vaccination.
