Job Title: Data Governance Advisor

As a Data Governance Advisor at Desjardins, you will play a key role in defining and implementing data management processes that ensure the optimal and secure use of data for the benefit of our members and clients. You will work closely with teams to help them recognize and manage data as a strategic asset, while ensuring compliance with governance rules, privacy policies, and security measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data governance logs, tools, and dashboards to support data management processes.
  • Work with teams to analyze risks and potential gaps between governance documents and operational practices.
  • Implement practices and mechanisms to ensure compliance with governance documents.
  • Help measure and monitor the performance of data governance standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data governance needs and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of French is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
