Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • 5+ years of experience in C++ and C#.NET software development.
    • 3+ years of development experience in retail/fuel and a desire to become an architect, or at least 2 years of experience in a System Architect role.
    • Experience in multi-threading, network (TCP/IP).
    • Strong database skills (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite).
    • Experience with programming in a Linux environment.
    • Experience in an Agile development environment.
    • Knowledge of client-side web development tools - HTML, JavaScript, XML, Ajax, SOAP, REST.
    • Knowledge of security principles (encryption, vulnerabilities, PCI) – Advantage.
    • Knowledge of Application Design Patterns and strong collaboration and coaching skills.
    • Debugging and troubleshooting: ability to translate symptoms and problems into root causes.
    • A continual learner who stays up-to-date on the latest technologies.
    • Broad knowledge and experience in web development frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular – Advantage.
    • Excellent English, both verbal and written.
    • Knowledge and experience with Cloud architecture, such as AWS – Advantage.
