Aesthetician - Spa Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aesthetician to join our team at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. As an Aesthetician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, delivering expert facials, body treatments, nail services, waxing, and makeup.
Key Responsibilities:- Consistently deliver professional, friendly, and engaging service to our guests.
- Perform Aesthetic treatments while maintaining the clients' comfort at all times.
- Perform 30, 60, and 90-minute treatments as required.
- Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectations.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order.
- Actively participate in other areas of the Spa Operation, such as body treatments, product knowledge, spa reception, and retail sales.
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
- Perform nail services in a safe, comfortable, and hygienic manner.
- Perform facials on guests using safe and professional techniques.
- Perform cosmetic services in a safe, hygienic manner.
- Maintain an ample inventory of all products necessary to perform all facial, manicure, and pedicure services. Prepare kits as required.
- Assist in any and all ways in the beauty salon when not scheduled to perform facial or nail services. This assistance includes acting as salon receptionist, performing cosmetic services, selling and restocking professional retail skin care and hair care products.
- Constantly maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the personal services performed and any revisions in the products or procedures used.
- Answer all questions related to services performed and products used.
- Assist in the coordination of salon services with other spa programs.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives.
- Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives.
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned.
- Previous experience as an Aesthetician or Spa Therapist is beneficial.
- Certification from an accredited school of Aesthetics is required.
- All professional licenses must be current.
- CPR and First Aid certification is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions.
- Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure.
- Ability to consistently stand and walk throughout the shift.
