We are seeking a highly skilled Site Operations Director to lead our team in Lachine.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all facility and manufacturing activities to achieve required business objectives. They will contribute to the delivery of service excellence to both internal and external customer groups, build a positive work environment, and maintain a culture that drives employee initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement and satisfaction.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with experience in managing operations teams and contributing to business growth. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of management experience and proficiency in SAP is an asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage data-driven insights to drive strategic decision-making and optimize operational performance;
  • Maintain a high-performing Operations Team that supports Brenntag's Core Values and the Brenntag Way execution for business conduct and compliance;
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring customer needs and requirements are met;
  • Lead continuous improvement projects from ideation through to completion, focusing on process enhancements and cost reductions;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of new processes and technologies;
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, quality, and environmental performance;
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and open communication within the team;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Operations Management;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a related industry;
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, improving efficiency, and reducing costs;
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams;
  • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems is an asset;
