We're looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at SOAR Professional Services LP. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in Indigenous communities.

About the Role

This Project Manager position will be responsible for leading the implementation of our strategic growth plan and operational business plans. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in environmental assessment, regulatory permitting, and consultation and engagement projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of a business development strategy with a primary focus on developing client relationships and new business opportunities related to projects for Indigenous Nation clients
  • Manage proposals and submissions in response to requests for proposals
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to multidisciplinary project teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous clients, government agencies, and other project stakeholders
Requirements
  • A degree in environmental planning, environmental science, or another relevant discipline
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Professional Planner, Registered Professional Biologist (Professional Engineer considered an asset)
  • Experience in environmental impact assessment and permitting under Provincial, Federal, or Territorial regulatory frameworks
  • 7-10 years' experience in consulting and/or environmental related fields
  • A strong interest in Indigenous economic development, renewable energy, environmental assessment and permitting, and community consultation and engagement
