The Shoe Co. is seeking a skilled Store Manager to lead our team and drive sales growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

About the Role

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience, coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, and executing operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dynamic team to achieve store business results through exceptional customer service and compelling merchandise presentation.
  • Balance company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling to maintain an operationally sound business.
  • Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a passion for shoes.
  • Achieve company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/humility.
  • Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results.
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.

Requirements

  • Educational background: relevant post-secondary education.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in progressive retail supervisory role.
  • Proven success in the achievement of sales and profitability targets in large volume top doors.
  • Positive and energetic team player with a strong leadership capability.
  • Proven ability to motivate others.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including e-mail, MS Word or other word processing program and Excel or other spreadsheet programs.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while also being committed to creating a compelling customer experience.
  • Ability to work, days, closing shifts and weekends.

Compensation
