Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Global Finance, Regulatory Risk Governance group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall success of our organization by executing specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of our team's mandate and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Risk Governance: Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Regulatory Compliance Risk Management (RCM) framework to ensure it is tailored to the needs of each business activity.
  • Compliance Policy Review: Regularly review compliance policies, procedures, and practices to ensure they remain adequate and appropriate to control regulatory compliance risk.
  • Global Finance Control Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of Global Finance controls, monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), and report on operational risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) findings.
  • Operational Risk Management: Collaborate with Finance, Audit, Operational Risk, and Compliance Risk teams to implement and optimize the operational risk management model, addressing audit findings, regulatory, compliance, and policy reviews.
  • Training and Development: Design and maintain specific training to ensure ongoing compliance with changing regulatory requirements, including dissemination of enterprise-wide policies to Global Finance teams.
  • Risk Culture and Awareness: Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Operational Risk, Regulatory Compliance Risk, and Conduct Risk: Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas, ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, and conduct risk.
  • Customer Focus and Teamwork: Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge, while fostering a positive work environment that values teamwork and provides a productive, enjoyable, and satisfying experience for all.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in Finance or Audit or Risk environments.
  • Professional Designation: Professional Accounting designation (CPA) is preferred.
  • Financial and Management Reporting: Solid understanding of financial and management reporting principles, knowledgeable of the Bank's products, operations, and procedures.
  • Risk Knowledge: Strong knowledge of risks (inherent and residual) impacting banking and finance, internal controls, and evaluation.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, data visualization (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.), problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Solid communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to interact with various Finance units at different management levels.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Excellent people skills are required to foster a positive work environment that values teamwork and provides a productive, enjoyable, and satisfying experience for all.
