About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Angus Consulting Management Limited. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing expert plumbing services to our clients across the GTA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including faucets, toilets, and pressure relief valves.
  • Operate threaders and remove/replace/repair pipes of various materials, including cast iron, plastic, stainless steel, and copper.
  • Work on heating, cooling, and domestic cold water systems, as well as pumps, heat exchangers, humidifiers, and boilers.
  • Troubleshoot and rebuild/replace pumps, including submersible, sump, centrifugal, and piston pumps.
  • Solder, braze, and open-flame weld tubing and pipes.
  • Manage inventory and reduce waste using a material management system.
  • Price jobs, create material lists, and generate invoices for clients.
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants and clients through effective communication and attend project commissioning handover meetings.
  • Escalate unusual events and occurrences, complete preventive/demand maintenance tasks, and input histories as required.
  • Manage projects to completion, install new equipment, and replace like-for-like items.
  • Assist and delegate other classifications/trades as required.

Requirements

  • Red Seal interprovincial Plumbing ticket or Master Plumber (preferred)
  • Gas ticket, G2
  • Backflow prevention ticket and testing experience
  • HVAC certification (an asset)
  • Valid driver's license
  • 5-10 years of service experience in plumbing and HVAC
  • Ability to self-manage and delegate
  • Ability to effectively read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written)
