We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team at FT Diesel & Mobile Services Ltd. As a Diesel Mechanic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our experienced mechanics in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment and diesel engines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment and diesel engines
  • Perform tasks such as cleaning machines and work areas, moving tools and equipment, and assisting with physical labor
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
Work Environment:

Our work site environment is physically demanding, with confined spaces and noisy conditions. You will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Manual dexterity required
