We are seeking an experienced Meat Cutter to join our team at Hopcott Farms Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses into primal cuts for further processing or packaging. This is an entry-level position that requires minimal supervision and offers opportunities for growth and professional development.

• Cut beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing, or packaging.
• Remove bones from meat.

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in slaughterhouse settings.
• Familiarity with equipment such as cleavers, knives, power cutting tools, saws, and stunning devices.
• Able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

This position involves working in a fast-paced slaughterhouse environment with exposure to various types of meat and machinery. The employee must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and follow all safety protocols.
