Job Title: Farm Operations Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Farm Operations Coordinator to join our team at Golden Acre Farms Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring the safety and bio-security of our crops, and leading a team of farm workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Farm Operations: Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Implement and maintain farm safety and bio-security procedures, ensuring the well-being of our staff and the protection of our crops.
  • Operate and Maintain Farm Machinery: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working order and that all maintenance is up to date.
  • Plant, Cultivate, and Irrigate Crops: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, ensuring that they receive the best possible care and attention.
  • Examine Product for Quality: Examine products for quality and their readiness for the market, ensuring that only the highest quality crops are sold.

  • Physically Demanding: The role requires a high level of physical fitness, with tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting heavy weights.
