Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle's condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and communicate with other drivers and stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo, vehicle condition, and other relevant information.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgment, reliability, and teamwork skills.
