Job Title: Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at SRS Technologies Inc.

Job Summary:

The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document user requirements to ensure software meets client needs
  • Coordinate the development, installation, and integration of computer-based systems
  • Define system functionality and develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify solutions
  • Develop process and network models to optimize system architecture
  • Develop software solutions by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
  • Evaluate the performance and reliability of system designs
  • Evaluate user feedback and conduct usability testing
  • Execute full lifecycle software development, from planning to deployment
  • Plan every step of the integration of a computer-based system
  • Synthesize technical information for every phase of the cycle of a computer-based system
  • Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development and system integration
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and HTML
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and Scrum
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Jenkins, Jira, and other DevOps tools
  • Knowledge of robotic process automation and usability testing
  • Experience with SQL and database management
