About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Clerk to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing a clear picture of the company's financial health
  • Post journal entries, accurately recording financial transactions
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports, supporting business decision-making
  • Prepare tax returns, meeting regulatory requirements
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
Work Environment
  • Permanent full-time position
  • 35 hours per week
  • Work Language: English
Compensation

Estimated annual salary range is between $40,000 and $60,000 depending on location and experience.
