About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Excavation Equipment Operator to join our team at EMAAN EXCAVATING AND CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoe excavators and loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, and refill tanks as needed.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Prepare accident reports and secure special attachments to equipment.
  • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to ensure accurate location and navigation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members using two-way radios and other communication equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment to minimize downtime.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a permanent position.
  • Fluency in English.
