About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled Greek Localization QA Tester to join our team in Montreal. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing video game titles and verifying all text, images, and voice-over components in Greek. Your eagle eyes will be essential in finding linguistic, visual, and cultural issues in the localized text of various game titles on mobile, PC, and console.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in Greek
- Find translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
- Report errors in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document in a clear manner
- Provide resolutions for errors reported to improve the linguistic and translated content
- Follow and respect terminology guidelines
- Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
- Report to and follow instructions from the Test Lead
- Address and escalate problems to the Test Lead
The Ideal Candidate:
- Native-level language competency in Greek
- Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
- Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
- Passion for video games
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Professional competency in English
