Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our housekeeping team at Best Western Williams Lake Hotel.

Job Summary:

The Light Duty Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests
  • Clean and disinfect elevators, changing rooms, and showers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure our guests' belongings are safe and secure
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities to our guests
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment
Requirements:
  • Will train
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
