Job Description

At DS Renovation Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Renovation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, renovation, and commercial/industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Conduct site surveys and ensure building locations and levels are accurate.
  • Supervise and direct other workers.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in construction, renovation, and commercial/industrial settings.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is essential.
