Vitalité Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Medical Microbiologist-Infectiologist to join our team. As a key member of our Microbiology department, you will be responsible for the clinical and laboratory diagnosis, epidemiology, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical microbiology, with certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Conduct clinical and laboratory diagnosis of infectious diseases
• Develop and implement epidemiological studies to identify and track infectious disease outbreaks
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans for infectious diseases
• Participate in research activities to advance the field of medical microbiology
• Teach and mentor students and healthcare professionals in the field of medical microbiology

• Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in medical microbiology
• Graduate degree in medicine or a related field
• Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick
