Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Helper to join our team at Green Ladder Building Corp.

Job Summary:

The Construction Helper will assist in the construction process by performing various tasks such as loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mixing and pouring concrete and asphalt
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Removing rubble and debris from construction sites
Requirements:
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Dependability and reliability
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction or a related field
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports newcomers and refugees
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports youth employment
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people
Work Environment:

The Construction Helper will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30-40 hours per week.
