Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator - Excavator and Loader
About the Role:
Yes Concrete Cutting and Coring Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Excavator and Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and loaders, to excavate and transport materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes and loaders, to excavate and transport materials.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Secure special attachments to equipment and operate hydraulic pumping systems.
- Measure distance, volume, length, and weight, and understand the purpose and proper usage of material safety data sheets (MSDS).
- Complete onboard and other logs and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and loaders.
- High school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
Work Environment:
- Varied locations, including construction sites and other outdoor areas.
