About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at ParaMed Home Health Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
  • Provide Nursing Care: Administer first aid in emergency situations, assist with cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment, and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Maintain inventory of supplies, make beds, and ensure patients' rooms are clean and tidy.
  • Support Clients' Independence: Assist clients with meal preparation, serve meal trays, and supervise exercise routines.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate and CPR Certificate.
