About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fit Technician to join our team at Ardene. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical aspects of our styles meet the highest standards of quality and fit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain technical packs for overseas development, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Educate suppliers on pattern-making and construction requirements, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and implement fit and quality standards across product categories, driving consistency and excellence.
  • Lead fit sessions with live models, providing expert guidance and feedback.
  • Analyze problems, make sound recommendations, and take appropriate action to ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, designers, and coordinators, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sample approvals, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Fashion Design or related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience as a fit technician, patternmaker, or grader.
  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction and fit principles.
  • Bilingual, with strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Illustrator and Pad system is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and adapt.
