Job Title: Appliance Repair Technician

Pacific West Home Appliance Service & Repair Ltd is seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of electrical and gas appliances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough diagnoses of appliance issues using electrical test equipment
  • Prepare detailed estimates of repair costs for customers
  • Refer to schematic drawings and product manuals to repair parts
  • Diagnose faults using testing devices and repair electrical appliances and components
  • Advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment
  • Use specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
Requirements:
  • Appliance Repair Trade Certification
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
  • Basic security clearance and eligible for professional liability insurance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a focus on client satisfaction
