Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team at Concord Premium Meats Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting air and water quality testing, sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing
  • Conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques
  • Maintain laboratory equipment
  • Operate laboratory apparatus
  • Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards
  • Assist in the development of chemical engineering processes, studies of chemical engineering procurement, construction, inspection and maintenance
  • Conduct safety training programs

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
