About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our neurodivergent-affirming community-based pediatric practice. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of funders, including MCFD, CBIPCY, schools, and parents, to provide home, school, and community-based rehabilitation for children with autism, brain injuries, and other developmental concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct community-based assessments and implement treatment plans to address ADLs, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, visual perception, and other functional areas.
  • Work with a diverse group of funders to provide rehabilitation services for children with autism, brain injuries, and other developmental concerns.
  • Collaborate with our team of experienced professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to children and their families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.
Requirements
  • Registration with the RASP or eligibility for RASP is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric OT work experience is required.
  • 2 years overall clinical work experience is preferred (work experience as a behavioural interventionist with pediatric clients will be considered).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable vehicle to use for clinical appointments.
