Job Summary
Radiant Care Tabor Manor is seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team in the Nursing department. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, recreational, spiritual, and psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and efficient personal care for residents, including all activities of daily living.
- Effectively communicate with residents, staff, and families to ensure excellent customer service.
- Provide individualized service in a home-like setting, adapting to changing needs of residents as required.
- Observe and report changes in resident's status, recording necessary data on resident health and provision of service.
- Share responsibility for care of equipment in the home and personal belongings of residents.
- Work co-operatively with team members, receiving direction from registered staff and participating in quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Training and education in caring for seniors in long-term care.
- Demonstrated experience in caring for seniors in long-term care.
- Current CPR Certification an asset.
- Valid PSW Certification.
