About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Game Design Director to join our Casual Mobile team at Electronic Arts Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our games, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of our games, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize design requirements.
  • Develop and maintain design documents, including game design specifications and user experience (UX) guidelines.
  • Work closely with the art and audio teams to ensure cohesive and engaging game experiences.
  • Conduct playtesting and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design approaches.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in game design, with a focus on mobile games.
  • Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering high-quality game experiences.
  • Strong understanding of game design principles, including game mechanics, user experience, and level design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design problems and develop effective solutions.
