Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Richmond Housing Corporation. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing practice and patient care
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently within the facility
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide guidance on healthy lifestyle choices
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure efficient patient care
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments
  • Transport patients between care facilities as needed
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Criminal record check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and on-call
