Automotive Technician Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team at American Iron & Metal. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the day-to-day operations of our used vehicle division.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for display in the yard by cleaning and organizing them.
• Dismount and sort wheels and tires.
• Clean, test and sort batteries for resale.
• Fill cans with certain liquids and label them.
• Prepare, organize and clean the yard for customers.
• Keep your work area clean and tidy.

Requirements

• Commitment to good health and safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs.
• Proven track record for punctuality and reliability.
• Good physical health.
• Flexibility (open to some job variety).
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
