Job Summary

As a Field Service Technician with DIGI CANADA Inc., you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service by providing on-site installation, customer training, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of our products in an efficient and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Setup: Perform on-site installations and setup of equipment as required to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Customer Training: Provide comprehensive training to end-users on the proper use and maintenance of our products to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize support requests.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair equipment on-site to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Planned Maintenance: Perform regular planned maintenance on warranty and contract equipment to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and accurate technical support to customers via phone or email to resolve issues and address concerns.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular inventory counts to ensure stock levels are adequate and up-to-date.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date on technical service news bulletins and new products to ensure expertise and provide value-added services to customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve complex issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in field service or a related field is preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong technical aptitude, and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, squat, and kneel for long periods, as well as drive long distances between customer locations.
