Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective occupational health and hygiene programs to minimize exposure to hazardous substances and promote a safe working environment.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on control measures to mitigate potential health risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise and support to operations teams to ensure the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of workplace exposures and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Represent the Health and Safety team on site committees and provide subject matter expertise on occupational health and hygiene matters.
- Post-secondary degree in Occupational Hygiene or a related science field.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational hygiene, with a strong background in risk assessment and control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide recommendations.

Salary Range: $117,000 - $144,500
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
