Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Recruit and hire staff
- Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate or diploma required
- Experience an asset
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
