Kitchen Manager Job Description
At SAN ANTONIO SEAFOOD MARKET LTD., we are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing kitchen staff, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen helpers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Establish work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
