
Strategic Governance Leader Wanted for Terra Centre

Terra Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering teen parents in Edmonton. As a Centre Director, you will play a crucial role in advancing the mission and vision of Terra Centre.
The ideal candidate will possess designation as Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with experience working with not-for-profit organizations. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning: Oversee the development and approval of the strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the purpose and goals of Terra Centre.
- Financial Oversight: Provide financial guidance, approving the annual budget and reviewing agency financial performance.
- Resource Management: Ensure effective management of agency resources, including staff, finances, and operations.
- Service Evaluation: Review services and programs to ensure they meet community needs and are relevant to Terra Centre's purpose.
- Community Ambassador: Act as an ambassador and advocate for Terra Centre within the community and at public events.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A deep understanding of not-for-profit governance and financial management.
- Experience working with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
In return, you can expect a competitive salary, approximately $**$85,000 - $110,000 per annum**, depending on qualifications and experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
