Job Title: Registered Technologist, CT/Angio

Humber River Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist, CT/Angio to join our Medical Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing CT and Interventional Radiology procedures, operating various equipment, and preparing patients for exams.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT and Interventional Radiology procedures as per department protocols or as directed by the Radiologist.
  • Operate all types of equipment used within the department, including CT scanners, Interventional systems, and Multipurpose Rooms.
  • Prepare and assess patients for CT scans or Interventional Procedures, including obtaining contrast consent and confirming exam validity.
  • Complete exam processes by reviewing images, confirming documentation, and presenting to Radiologists for reporting via PACS.
  • Follow radiation safety practices for patient, colleague, and occupational protection.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in good standing.
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.
  • CT and Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
  • Previous experience in CT and Interventional Radiology preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good teamwork and customer service skills.
  • IV certification required.
