Strategic Sourcing Manager, Indirect Global Procurement

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Indirect Global Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving competitive category and supply strategies to reduce costs while ensuring perfect execution and risk mitigation across our Training Centers and Flight Training operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and communication skillset, with the ability to build relationships with senior-level stakeholders across the organization. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, with a passion for success, commitment to continuous improvement, and a relentless drive to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement global and local procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction, leadership, and support related to category management and strategic sourcing.
  • Establish and maintain effective partnering relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support business transformation initiatives.
  • Lead the formulation and implementation of category strategies, conducting category intelligence research and partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities and channel innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, Engineering, Operations, or other applicable discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, category, and vendor management, purchasing, and/or material management.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP/P2P, SAP, and Ariba preferred.
