Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to support our public sector client's modernization projects and legacy system maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Risk Management, Integration Management, Change Management, Planning and Scheduling, Quality Management, and Earned Value Management.
  • Manage projects during development, implementation, and operations startup, ensuring resources are available and projects are completed within agreed time, cost, and performance parameters.
  • Identify resource needs and work with the Technical Authority to assign individual responsibilities.
  • Define and document project objectives, determine budgetary requirements, and establish project team composition, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Prepare plans, charts, tables, and diagrams to analyze or display problems, and work with various project management tools.
  • Create and execute project work plans and timelines, revising as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate team and stakeholder meetings, communicating relevant project information and stating problems in a solvable form.
  • Document, evaluate, and communicate project changes and updates to appropriate team members.
  • Formulate problem statements, establish procedures for developing and implementing significant project elements, and resolve or escalate problems in a timely fashion.
  • Provide documentation to support approval processes and ensure documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Report project progress on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle.
  • Manage projects through to closing.
Requirements:
  • Experience managing an IM/IT project during at least two of the following phases: planning, monitoring, execution, and/or closing.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or PSM certification.
  • Experience managing Grants and Contributions system development projects.
  • Agile experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Government experience.
