At FLAMINKO INC., we are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our computer databases, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain computer databases using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Document customers' requirements for projects and ensure that database solutions meet their needs.
  • Setup the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange.
  • Test data models and database management systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Design and develop databases that meet the needs of our organization, including data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models to ensure data quality, security, and integrity.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in database development and management.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, including MySQL, SQL, and database software.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Python, R, and Ajax.
  • Experience with Linux, networking software, and Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
