Qualifications and Requirements

**Registration and Certification**

To be eligible for this role, you must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant or a practicing RPN registrant.

**Education and Experience**

You must have graduated from a recognized nursing program with Gerontology certification or have an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

**Minimum Requirements**

A minimum of three to five years of recent related experience in long-term care is required.

  • **Technical Skills**: You must be able to operate related equipment and have basic keyboarding skills.
  • **Physical Ability**: You must be physically able to perform the duties of the position.
  • **Collaborative Practice**: You must be able to contribute to the professional and organizational vision as it pertains to clinical practice and patient care.
  • **Certifications and Training**: You must have current CPR level C certification and be familiar with MS Outlook, MS Word.
