Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled Workspace ONE Engineer to join a large multinational financial institution in Canada. As part of a leading mobile device management team, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and managing mobile device solutions using Workspace ONE UEM in a hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environment.

  • Estimated salary: $94.69 per hour.
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for implementing solutions to manage mobile devices and MacBooks using Omnissa Workspace ONE, leading planning and execution of upgrades within a hybrid Workspace ONE environment, understanding business requirements and designing solutions to meet security and operational needs.

  • Implement solutions to manage mobile devices and MacBooks using Omnissa Workspace ONE.

  • Resolve issues through advanced troubleshooting and manage trouble tickets with vendors like Apple and Omnissa.
  • Participate in testing programs for Android, iOS, and MacOS mobile operating systems.
  • Evaluate and test new hardware offerings from vendors like Apple, Samsung, and Google.
  • Assist internal development teams with enrolling test and development devices in UAT environments.
  • Work closely with Apple and VMware to understand future product capabilities and influence their development with client needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 10 years of IT experience, ideally within a large, complex organization, 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workspace ONE UEM, including designing and deploying infrastructure in highly regulated environments.

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, ideally within a large, complex organization.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workspace ONE UEM, including designing and deploying infrastructure in highly regulated environments.
  • 3+ years managing mobile devices at scale using MDM solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience with Apple enterprise products such as DEP, VPP, and Apple Business Manager.
  • Experience integrating Google and Samsung device management with Workspace ONE.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles in regulated industries (e.g., Financial Services).
  • 1+ years of experience with Office 365 mobile apps and Microsoft Intune administration.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation, such as user guides and build documents.
  • Previous experience in banking or financial institutions, or other regulated environments.
  • Experience with large-scale technology deployments as part of a project team.
  • Spanish language proficiency is an asset.
  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Certification as an Airwatch Administrator or Professional (or equivalent from another MDM vendor).
