Job Title: Waste Management Operator

Regional Recycling Whistler is seeking a skilled Waste Management Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including garbage trucks and recycling vehicles.
  • Collect and transport waste and recyclables to designated facilities.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Keep accurate records of waste collection and disposal activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in waste management or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
