Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at 1731437 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality flooring installations in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, marking them accurately for installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Prepare detailed flooring plans and schedules to meet client expectations.
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors with precision and attention to detail.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain a high level of quality.
  • Estimate costs and materials for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare floors for installation by removing existing coverings and contaminants.
  • Operate knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting and ensure a professional finish.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand client requirements.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling throughout the day. You will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
