About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team at Energy Home Service Corp. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing gas heating units and their components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Service: Install gas heating units and their components, including measuring and marking reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment, including testing and adjusting control mechanisms and checking pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
  • Client Support: Advise clients regarding standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for gas installation and repair projects.
  • Propane and Natural Gas Services: Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 3 or C.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and performing physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate client focus, dependability, judgement, and a positive attitude.
