Backend Engineer

Dapper Labs is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our blockchain-based digital collectibles platforms. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs, ensuring the scalability and security of our systems, and collaborating with frontend teams to design cohesive and integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and secure backend services and APIs.
  • Optimize and ensure the performance and reliability of our backend systems.
  • Develop server-side logic to integrate with blockchain technologies and handle high-volume transactions.
  • Implement monitoring and optimization for system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to design cohesive and integrated solutions.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Requirements:
  • Experience in backend development, with a strong grasp of server-side languages such as GoLang or NodeJS.
  • Proficient in managing server environments and understanding core principles of scalable architecture.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and dynamic team collaboration.
  • Passionate about blockchain technology and its applications in gaming and digital collectibles.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of deploying and managing cloud-based server environments.
  • Strong experience with databases and server-side integration with various database technologies.
  • Capability to develop utilities and tools that enhance backend functionality and user interaction.
