Our Team

Within the Wind River Cloud team, we work with large-scale projects like Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, and fast-paced Open-Source technologies that are in high demand from our customers. We have adopted these technologies into the core of our product, driving us to find experienced and high-performing individuals who can learn and contribute to these container and virtualization solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality designs and code based on Kubernetes, containerized applications, distributed cloud systems, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Work as part of a team focused on building and maintaining Linux-based platform services that ensure high availability for Kubernetes-based applications.
  • Leverage OSTree and Linux package management for upgrade and patching with minimal service outage.
  • Develop configuration management solutions using Puppet and Ansible.
  • Contribute actively to StarlingX, an open-source project under the OpenStack Foundation, a fully featured cloud for the distributed edge.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development process using agile development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with Python.
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
